galabob Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 There will be a great new look poker league starting at Leeds on Sunday 6th May, with an estimated prize pool of £40,000. The league will run until the 28th july and players will earn points every time they play. Player will get 1 point just for playing and additional points if they make the final table. Our league will be linked to leagues which will run simultaneously in 14 other Gala casinos, with each club sending players through to a National League Final. £1 will be added to the registration fee in all clubs that are taking part. This money will go into a prize pool that will build up throughout the league. Based on attendance figures for the last 6 months in our cardrooms we estimate that this should generate a whopping £40,000 prize pool. If you can't make it to Leeds the other clubs taking part in the National League are Birmingham Bournemouth Bradford Bristol Dundee Edinburgh Glasgow Merchant City Hull Leicester Liverpool Nottingham Stockport Sunderland Teeside.
