cim85 Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 CRAIG Williams will ride Americain in the 2000m Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick on Saturday week. Williams, fresh from his Group 1 win on Master Of Design in the T.J Smith Stakes on Saturday, replaces Frenchman Gerald Mosse, whose ride on Americain in The BMW at Rosehill received stinging criticism. Trainer David Hayes said the horse was fit and had freshened up well after his BMW second to Manighar when held up for a run at the top of the straight. "It was impressive, wasn't it?" Hayes said.
