Flat Racing 11th April (Lingfield, Kempton, Catterick & Nottingham)

2.40 Nottingham An interesting Class 3 Conditions event with a couple of class peformers in the lineup. Triple Aspect joins a very good yard but was a tad disappointing last year, on a going day he is much better than a lot of these, may just need this run for this yard and soft ground not ideal this should tee him up for bigger targets in the summer. Johnny Mudball was progressive in 2010 finishing with a good 5th in the Ayr Gold Cup off a mark of 104, limited to just 2 runs last year due to injury but that was a brilliant 3rd at Group 3 level at Newmarket but again showing his liking for fast ground although connections feel he is just as good on softer ground and despite yard going well cant help feel he is gonna need this run on the back of injury. For me Dinkum Diamond looks the one to be with here, very tough colt he kept improving last year and it would be no surprise to see him continue his consistent form this season as a 4yr old and despite having to carry top weight here and a little bit to find on OR he has less question marks to answer and acts on just about any ground. Yard form is unknown as this is there first runner of the year. 2pt win Dinkum Diamond 85/40 VC 3.50 Lingfield Zing Wing is by no means fully exposed and could still have more wins in her yet, she has a win and a 2nd on the AW but did appear to need run last season and likely story here again. Bold Ring is just not in the mood at the moment and easy to look elsewhere. Cut The Cackle ran her best race since winning off a 5lb lower mark 2 starts back behind Qeethara but failed to build on that effort next time out and isnt the most consistent these days. Midas Moment has disappointed on reappearnace efforts in the past and a 4lb rise for a win at Wolves left her looking vunerable next time out on turf, yard also struggling for a winner so may be vunerable on seasonal reappearance. That all leads me to Qeethara who holds a solid chance to rack up 5th win of the year, she won a tad cosy last time out at Kempton. Just as good over a mile and has really got on with Morris this winter and he rides again 3lb rise may underestimate that win and if handling Lingfield aswell clearly in the right mood at the moment to land this sort of race. 2pt win Qeethara 5/2 vc 4.30 Catterick Hi Dancer looks hard to beat and 5/2 looks a huge price was coming to hand at end of season last year on the flat and got back on the scoresheet last twice over hurdles and on that form his flat mark looks very low and he could be a very well handicapped individual with a very good 3lb claimer on board aswell who has proved his well being recently and ground no concern and previously run well here which counts for a lot here. 2pt win Hi Dancer 5/2 bet365 6.00 Kempton Howyoudoingnotsobad may be a good things in this handicap having bolted up over CD 2 weeks ago up 7lb for that and if turning up in the same form could be hard to beat but not been the most reliable and that did appear to come out of knowhere and therefore is probably worth taking on at a short price. Steelcut has been in great form in plating company this winter and hasnt been winning out of turn and clearly in good fettle but should find this tougher back in handicap. Sherjawy is massively overpriced, although proving extremely frustrating this winter running several good efforts including over CD this winter. Very much improved effort again with blinkers returned for the first time in a while last time out and aslong as they have the same effect today 10/1 looks a huge price from a good draw to sit prominently and although losing run stacking up good efforts also stacking up off a 9lb lower mark than when last winning far to dangerous to ignore in this sort of race! 1pt e/w Sherjawy 10/1 bet365

Re: Flat Racing 11th April (Lingfield, Kempton, Catterick & Nottingham) Boucher Garcon 5.00pm Catterick - SP - WIN No prices available yet and a poor class 6 sprint but saw the race it won at the weekend and it won with ease and pulled away with ease. Interesting to see it out so soon as it is likely to go up the handicap a fair bit I would think. Chance to run it under a penalty for a follow up win. Might not have beaten much the other day but is only 4 years old and progressive enough to win this cosily. Solar Sky 3.40pm Nottingham - 5-1 - Paddypower 2nd on debut and then easy winner at long odds on. Didn't go handicap route, thrown in at group 3 level and close 2nd to Namibian. Ran really well that day and is lightly raced with 5 career starts. Ran poorly behind Masked Marvel and missed the St Leger completely. Only 4 years old and can progress past a lot of these in this field. Dandino is one I'm quick to oppose and feel is possibly overrated and under priced. Parlour Games and Zuider Zee are the main dangers for me. Ground and trip ideal for Solar Sky, was 2nd on gd-sft over 2m. If this is a stamina test it should suit.
