Rosehill Guineas Day 31/03/2012 Rosehill Guineas Day – 1 more week to the slipper Last week you wanted to be sitting 3 away from the fence. Hopefully tomorrow the track plays fair but just keep an eye on it. Race 1 – This is a cracking race with many a horse running to keep their slipper dream alive. Agueda, Ichihara and She’s A Fox are all promising types that are going to win nice races in time. We have had our eye on Doubtfilly and she didn’t disappoint when she let down and won by 5 lengths on a heavy track first start at Doomben. Stuart Kendrick has given this horse time to freshen up after that first up run and hopefully head on to the slipper. She gets the gun run in behind a hot pace and will be strong through the line. Doubtfilly(1) to win in front of Ichihara (3) and Agueda (4). Race 2 -We have one every week All Too Hard (1) wins this with a leg in the air. No need to write a novel. Only thing that could beat it is a scratching. If that occurs the others in contention are Collect (4) and Pure Hustle (2). All Too Hard too make it all too easy for you to collect your 3 Units. Race 3 – Hallowell Belle goes into the Parables basket, looms up to win every start and takes the money out of your pocket. African Pulse is at $6 at the moment and seems great value, ran last start in the Newmarket and finished 3.2 Lengths behind Haylist. You cant knock winning ways and that is excatly what Famous Seamus does, steps up in class but wont wont be far away. Now for the moment you have been waiting for… Aerobatics handles all going except good so theres a tick, ran 1.3 lengths to Nobby Snip who would be favourite in this race tick, on previous form and previous starts at the track 4 goes at the track for 3 placings and a 4th. Josh Parr has won aboard this nice Darley Filly and we expect him to do again. Aerobatics(12) from Hallowell Belle (14) and African Pulse (2). Race 4 – As much as the bookies have it as a 1 horse race there are 3 possible winners, Elite Falls, Rain Affair and Bel Sprinter. Rain Affair is going to set this race up at a cracking pace and should really suit Bel Sprinter and Elite Falls. Make sure you take in too consideration the track bias when betting on this race. Our choice is going to be Bel Sprinter but our suggested bet is Elite Falls to place (No Third Dividend) 1 unit. She is currently $3.60 which is double what you get for Rain Affair to win, great Value and also a great bet. Bel Sprinter (3) to Win Elite Falls (1 unit) to place to beat Rain Affair (1). Race 5 – What a tough race, Only one horse has run the distance at the track and won, Galizani won paying $41 here last prep and could possibly do it again. 6 horses have started at the distance and 5 have won at their only attempt Once Were Wild, Mirjulisa Lass, Galizani, Fill The Page and Dancing Attendance. Tigress Lilly is the only horse who has started more than once and has a nice record 3 starts 2 wins and 1 2nd. Fitness is her big issue and she may need one more run. Its a race where any one can win and thats why we are advising to watch this race. If you want to bet Fill the page (7) Tigress Lilly (11) and Fibrilation (8) are top picks. Race 6 – Niagara wins! The money from the stable has come, the talk from Gai has come and Tommy Berry is over the moon to be on this horse. Get on Niagara (13) 2 Units Race 7 – Well the race in my view is 3 Kiwis vs the field. Ocean Park, Rock’N'Pop and Silent Achiever. Silent Achiever had the edge on Ocean Park last start but there wasnt much in it. With a horrid barrier (17) Silent Achiever may just have drawn herself into second place behind Ocean Park but they will be fighting it out all the way to the line. Rock’N'Pop has travelled over well and has come on well since arriving. The Aussies to worry about are Strike The Stars, Highly Recommended, Laser Hawk and Induna. Our choice is Ocean Park (16), but there are 12 horses that could win this. Race 8 – This a race to stay away from as there form is so inconsistent. If you want to bet follow Gai. Race 9 – Well this is a great race to close out the day, Curtana last week was friendless in the bookies ring but there has been some good support early this week. Graceful Anna has been out of the game for almost 4 months but has never lost with Robl aboard. He has ridden this horse 4 times and won 4 times, it was a promising 2 YO but now is a 5yo and failed last prep in. Gybe looks great and is suited at this distance only query 2nd up. Miss Marx and Divorces are in the market but I think its a race in 2. Curtana and Gybe are the two and with the form Gybe is in we have picked that as our on top selection. Gybe (6) wins!
