Re: Cheltenham Analysis Some really good insight there. RE Sir Des Champs going to the gold cup, i'm sure C4 nabbed an interview with the trainer or quoted him as saying that regardless of how he performed this time round, he was going for the gold cup. Wonder if it's this that sees him so prominent in the ante-post markets, people jumping to the conclusion that he will definitely run. Would like to see him go in the Betfair Chase or a similar race next season before I jumped on the bandwagon. Oozed class but as you say, unproven over a GC trip.
