Began First run was last November at Cheltenham whend 2nd by a head from seven months off the track. Trainer Nicky Henderson decided to go against fences but was not as good (4th of 5 & PU). She returned to hurdling last time out 13 days ago and was 4th of 15 by 4 lengths. Getting some weight from the biggest danger and that is Paul Nicholls' gelding Hawkes Point who is making his Handicap debut. The selection has a strong chance of winning but going each way. Re: JUMPS Racing - March 9th, Friday 2.35 Wincanton - 3pts win The Disengager @ 7/1 (VC) Philip Hobbs' runner didn't really enjoy the chasing game, as he didn't build on a promising 2nd to the progressive The Panama Kid on his chasing debut. He failed to jump with any vigour last time out when sent off favourite, and a return to the smaller obstacles is seen as a big plus point here. He only showed a modicum of ability in novice events, but naturally improved for handicap company when a decent 3rd behind a horse who won again next time out. Built on this by winning nicely at Exeter (front two pulled a little bit away), before an 18-month break, during which he joined the Hobbs team from Jeremy Scott. Should be fit for this having run last month, and the form of his hurdling runs look pretty good. He should be able to compete off this mark, and I'm keen on his chances.
