[h=2]Welcome to our Team Vegas League![/h]Over the next 10 weeks players will battle it out for a chance to win one of 6 Las Vegas packages, each worth $7,500. Do you have what it takes to win your place on Team Vegas? Each package consists of: 10 days accommodation at the luxurious 5 Star Palazzo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas (Any dates in June or July 2012) Pre Registration into any $1,500 or $1,000 WSOP event of your choice The remaining money in cash for flights, spending money and additional tournament entries Prizes will be awarded as follows: Premier League Champion: The player who finishes in 1st place in the league will automatically win a $7,500 package Championship play offs: Players finishing between 2nd and 11th in the league will take part in an online playoff tournament where 2 packages will be awarded Division 1 play offs: Players finishing between 2nd and 40th in the league will be invited to play in an online tournament with a further 2 packages to be won The Fair Play Freeroll: ANY player who plays a minimum of 16 league matches will be invited to an online tournament where a further $7,500 package will be up for grabs A Maximum of one package can be won per person, but as you can see if you finish between 2nd and 11th AND you play in at least 16 league games, you’ll have THREE chances to win one of 5 Vegas Packages! There’s no live final, there are no team mates and there are no excuses – have you got what it takes to top our Las Vegas League? [h=2]About the League[/h]The Las Vegas League is an online poker league, running from Monday 19th March 2012 to Thursday 24th May 2012. Each week there will be two league matches taking place online, where 60% of the prize pool generated is retained to fund the Final Prizes. The other 40% is paid out to players as per the payout structures further down this page. Any money that is collected over and above the value of the 6 packages will be added to the Play Off events in the ratio of 50% to the Championship Play Off, 30% to the Division One Play Off and 20% to the Fair Play Freeroll. Each week players earn points, which are totalled up to give each player a league position. Your final league position will determine which of the final play offs you will be eligible for. A player’s best score from the two weekly league matches will be added to their league points total. This means a player can choose to play in either or both of the weekly league matches. The points structure for the weekly league games is listed on the Fixtures page and varies dependent on the number of players in the league game. We've made some exciting changes to our great Team Vegas Challenge promotion, which means there is still plenty of time to get involved. We've added extra value into each tournament, created a $250 Player of the Week award, and scheduled an extra tournament every Sunday at 6pm. The tournaments attract small fields and we are currently forecasting an overlay of approximately $10,000 for the end of Season main prizes! What's not to like? Dear Player It won’t have escaped your notice that the Team Vegas rounds are attracting fewer and fewer players. In an effort to address some player concerns and improve the flexibility of the promotion we will be making the following changes: A weekly Sunday tournament has been added at 6pm, starting this week. This means your weekly score will now be the best of 3 and you have more options as to when you play. Tournaments with $30 entries have been dropped to $20 All tournaments now have optional rebuys Each tournament now features added value prizes, centred around the Genting Poker Series We have also added a Player of the Week award, for the player who scores the most points every week (by adding up all 3 scores) of $250 Poker Cash (added value) All other money generated by the weekly tournaments will be retained towards the end of season prizes Players are now allowed to take cash rather than Vegas prize if they wish (full cash value) You can see the full detail of these changes on the Team Vegas Challenge website at www.lasvegasteamchallenge.com Good luck!
