Got burned last year on Bill Murray :@ but have just backed Leonardo di Caprio for Best Actor ahead of this afternoons Oscar nominations at 9/2 with Paddy Power. Can only readlly see 2 shoo-in nominations for the Actor category, with DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx and although Foxx should walk it for his performance in Ray, the Academy don't like awarding first time nominees and, of course he is black (before the cries of 'Denzil won', when Denzil Washington won in 2002 it was 'black year', with Halle Bery and Sidney Poitier also picking up awards). The value is therefore with DiCaprio, with Paul Giamatti a dark horse at 14s for Sideways. More top tips after the nominations :ok
