They are making a very good season, being fifth placed in the Greek SuperLeague. At home they scored at least one goal in every games they played and in the eight home games they kept a clean sheet in four. To this game Atromitos has two absences. Thomas is injured while Zuela travel to Africa to play the CAN. Aris is making a poor away season, with just one win and two draws, against four defeats. They have a record of 1-3-4 with 3-8 in goals. In the last five away games they could only score one goal! Atromitos has performed better in league matches (currently 5th) and has a good home record (6-2-0), but it will not be an easy win. Aris' performance has been below average and they have a poor away record (1-2-4) while scoring only three goals in away matches and conceded 8. Atromitos has only conceded 4 goals in 8 matches this season at home and scored 11. The thing is that Aris' season rests on the cup for any form of distinction. I believe they will be very careful and focus on not conceding a goal and hoping to get a winning goal on a counter or set piece. 3/5 recent matches have gone under 1.5 goals between these two teams. doxa4 Posted January 12, 2012 Share Posted January 12, 2012 Re: Greece»Greek Cup 2011/2012 Atromitos-Aris: Without a real manager acenter-forward his fans and no money ARIS travelling to athens.Players not getting payed for months must play the most importen match of the year.Aris scored in 15 games only 12 goals and thats the reason why the doing so poor this sisson.Atromitos didnt scored mutch better 16 goals in 15 matches BUT the have a real coach who managed to play 2 times in his shortly carrier in cupfinal(1W-1L)the have Mitroglou a good center-forward and no oikonomik problems.It shout be easy fot them do Win......If...ARIS didnt managed to make severel miricle escapes from cupmatches over the years winning games in the last minute.Today im betting for Atromitos for only one reason. doxa4 Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Re: Greece»Greek Cup 2011/2012 PAOK-AEK: There is a good possibility that this match will not end.If AEK takes the lead I am almost certain that Paok fans will cause trouble.Like last year the game was played only for 85 min after paok fans storm the field.So there is no point to bet on a match who cut end in violens.The atmosqhere in toumpa on sunday game against ergotelis was tense.Fans where divided about the selling of vieirinha and kontreras but also to the disicion to cut the budget of the team.for the moment its only slogans against zagorakis(clup presitend)but if things dont go well tonight things are going to get uglly. doxa4 Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 Re: Greece»Greek Cup 2011/2012 Olympiakos is by far the best team this year in greekfootball and propably going to win the cup.So no bet opertunity here.Atromitos on the other site is having a successful sesson this year.the best in there clup history.The are 10 places better than last year and thats meens a lot here.Already international and having a chance(small one,but still a chance)to finish 2 in the play-offs who garantie a place in championleage qualifi.That is not happen every year for clups with the side like Atromidos. doxa4 Posted April 28, 2012 Share Posted April 28, 2012 Re: Greece»Greek Cup 2011/2012 Mitroglou(first scorer for Atromitos)is on a lawn from olympiakos.And it was Valvertes call to send him off because he thought there is no place for him in the team.Since than Mitroglou tried to proof him wrong and with his performens and skills has won a lot of sympathy among olympiakos fans.Today is valvertes last game for the reds before he is going back to spain and mitroglou thinks to give him a present for the road....My bet for the FINAL...Both teams to score and Mitroglou to score.
