david1
Hi guys and gals, I wonder how many tennis finish in straight sets for the favourite. The stats is hard to find. It`s always a value to bet on top players to win 2-0 in nomal tournaments or 3-0 in Grand Slams. I want to try to back 2-0 using Martingale, we`ll see how far it takes me. If anyone has the set stats for tennis matches and ready to share that will be very appreciated. Cheers, David
Grex
Re: Tennis 2-0 set betting Hi, David and :welcome to PuntersLounge. Try football-data.co.uk. Despite the title, the site also has a load of tennis stats in down-loadable Excel files. Don't like the look of "Martingale".... it's a dirty word for most on this Forum :loon

Cheers, David if backing at the bookies, there is no value at all on top players winning 2-0 or 3-0 at all. In fact it's actually probably one of the worst bets to do. typically i see what is 1.7-1.8 shots for the 2-0,3-0 regularly being priced between 1.25-1.44 at the bookies. you can get the data from tennis data dot co to confirm this
