19:30 Kempton MACK’S SISTER is overpriced here as she’d have likely needed her previous two efforts after an absence and she showed a lot of promise last time over 7f. Now dropped back to her ideal distance alongside being back to her last winning mark, she should go well for a yard in form. She’s a twice winner on the all-weather with her last victory coming over course and distance in September 2010 which was off this mark of 60. She followed up that effort with plenty of creditable runs in defeat over 6f, but seemingly struggled with the slight rise in the weights, but always shaped that she could be a little better than a mark in the mid-60’s on her day. Her all-weather season ended in December and she wasn’t seen on the track until October, where she put in a poor run on turf. Her next start was more promising, travelling well around here over 7f before just fading in the closing stages, shaping that she still needed the outing and that 7f is just a little bit too far off this sort of mark. Back to 6f and down in grade, she should go much better now fully race fit and back to her ideal distance. She’s well-drawn in stall 2, so will likely be able to get a decent position just behind the leaders. There is a slight worry that there isn’t a confirmed pacesetter in this field and a crawl might not suit ideally for Mack’s Sister, but she’s more genuine than most and is likely to give her running however the race pans out. Dean Ivory is in good form as of late, with two winners in the past two weeks and many of his horses running really well. Mack’s Sister doesn’t deserve to be a double figure price in this contest today and although it’s obviously a tight affair with 6lbs separating the field, she’s still value with a good performance very likely. Re: Flat Racing; Wednesday 29th November 6.30 Kempton Competitive sprint handicap with several last time out winners in the field. Sugar Beet has always been about speed and has always looked a lot better over 5f and also at Lingfield which can often pay to be a speedy sort. Used to be fairly consistent but not quite so these days and although a 3lb rise looks fair considering she was winning going away last time out but first trip round here back over 6f and a career best all slightly off putting. Perfect Act was dropped into a claimer on reappearance and although never shown much fresh really should have done better and now has it all to prove in a competitive handicap and still 2lb above last winning mark. For me Main Beach looks to have a lot on off top weight in this race despite winning well last time not only does he have to carry a hefty weight of 9-7 he is drawn out in the car park in stall 13. Also 2 horse that have run since have both been well below the form required here and that is a concern. Silenzio won twice on turf before running a good 4th over CD behind Main Beach last time out, possible excuse that day was the wide draw but a better draw today and Moore a good looking booking this time of year and be no surprise to see a better effort today especially if coming on for that run as that was his first for nearly 60 days. Still relatively lightly raced for age and only 3lb higher for latest win. That all said they will have to go someway to beat the inform Mottley Crewe who has won 2 of his last 3 starts and a solid 2nd (did miles best of those drawn low over 5f at southwell). Set to go up 8lb in the handicap so is 2lb well in here under a penalty. Has always held his form very well and his latest win which was admitly on fibresand was impressive demolishing a reasonable Southwell field, has won on the polytrack at Wolves so surface not a major concen. 3pt win Mottley Crewe 7/2 lads 1pt win Silenzio 11/2 pp
