Lingfield 3.20 - Bold Ring (6.00), Shelagh (5.00) Mountrath tends to shoot off into the lead then burn out. With Indus Valley and Chokidar also quick off the mark the pace in this race is sure to be too strong. A few hold-up types are in the race but look over-exposed. I'm picking horses who have shown clear sings of improvement. Bold Ring has been tried over 7f more recently and this has brought about a big improvement. Has won last two races and is turned out again quickly in an attempt to beat the handicapper. The odds on this one are sure to shorten. Shelagh is unexposed with only 3 runs. Can race held-up or prominent. Has been given a lenient debut mark by the handicapper given the Topspeed figure.
