Cash Poker League at Gala Leeds

There's a new promotion coming to Gala Leeds in December. Starting on Sunday 4th December we will be introducing a cash poker league. From each pot over £25 an extra 50p in rake will be taken. This money does not go to the casino, but goes into a prize fund for the cash poker league. The league will run for 28 days and we estimate there willl be at least £3000 in the prize pool by the end of the league. Players will be awarded 5 league points every time they play cash poker. It doesn't matter how long they play for, they will still earn their points. Double league points will be earned for player on Monday and Wednesday. At the end of the 28 days the top 60 players in the league will be eligible to sit down in a freeroll for the prize money. Players in positions 61 - 90 can play for a £20 buy - in. The League final will be a turbo tournament with an 8000 point stack and a 15 minute clock There will be a free prize draw for players before the final, with prizes including 2 golden tickets which will allow the lucky winners to play rake free for the next four weeks. There will be a high hand prize during the final with the best hand taking home an ipad. (To qualify for the high hand prize players must use both their hole cards) A free buffet will be provided at the first break in the final.
