Karl has a prolific record on the tour and has made a main event final table in every season of the GUKPT thus far. In season one he was heads up with close friend Praz Bansi at the televised final table in Bolton. A narrow defeat was avenged in 2009 when he took the title in Cardiff and he almost repeated it in 2011 when he finished 4th in the London main event. Karl also made the final table in Thanet in 2008, finishing 8th. In this same grand final festival in 2009, Karl also won 2 separate side events and in total has won almost $300,000 at GUKPT events The GUKPT grand final main event is a £2,500 buy in event and last year the winner walked away with almost £150,000. Your share of the winnings could therefore be around £15,000 if Karl were to win the event.
