Loyal Royal - Lingfield 1:05 The favourite is far too short here at 6/4 in my opinion, so this gives us a few good value angles. I like the chances of Loyal Royal who ran its best race for a long time last time out at Wolverhampton when 4th behind Frequency @ 28/1, only about 2 lengths down. Loyal Royal has 4 course wins and 3 C+D wins to its name, the last win here was last March. Should give its running again and with Kingscote on board im confident of a big run. WIN @ 8/1 Hills BOG

Re: Flat Racing Wednesday 23rd of November 1.05 Lingfield Showboating has shown enough to suggest he is capable of picking up another race at some point but handicapper probably has him where he wants him right now, and win came with tongue tie on and that has been removed today. Triple Charm is the least exposed of this field making her handicap debut today after winning a weak Windsor maiden last time out but that form has taken plenty of knocks and cant believe this one is priced up at 6/4. Yard have enjoyed a good end to season but just signs that perhaps things arent quite so good over the past few days and looks worth opposing at current price. Ice Trooper is a another potentially unexposed sort having only had the one run on the AW last time out over CD admitly in a seller but did well on terms of race and showed plenty to win well and if showing the same speed today could make a mockery of his mark on the AW. The other that has to be considered is the old Loyal Royal who isnt getting any younger but comes here fresher than most clearly been kept aside for an AW campaign, clearly came on for the run first time up this winter showing much more last time out staying on from a long way back and would have done better if things had opened up a bit better as he travelled very strongly and should go well if a strong pace is there which should happen with Ice Trooper and Frognal in the field. 2pt win Loyal Royal 8/1 hills 1pt win Ice Trooper 7/1 bet365 2.45 Lingfield Mister Green is well handicapped on his best form but needs things to fall right and despite this first drop into class 6 handicap he is probably still worth opposing for now. Archie Rice is now 2lb below his last winning mark over CD in the summer but didnt show enough on a return from short break to suggest he is ready to pick up another race quite yet despite being well drawn for a prominent runner. Lord Lansing has plummeted in the weights after a disappointing season but bounced back to his best last time out over CD only found a heavily backed Hurricane Hymbrook too good and they pulled 6 lengths clear of the rest of the field, worry now is handicapper has had his saying putting him up 6lb without winning which now puts him 11lb above his last winning mark and had plenty of chances of these sorts of marks. So in a wide open race im looking at an E/W punt on Kai Mook who caught my eye last time out behind Woop Woop over CD that was her first try at this trip and was ridden with caution as to whether she would get the trip, she appeared to get the trip well and if been ridden slightly more forward should see her go close having placed off marks a couple of lb's above todays mark. 1pt e/w Kai Mook 8/1 bet365 5.05 Kempton Thought this was quite an interesting race despite the smallish field, theres no shortage of pace with both Megalala and Ela Gonda Mou both out and out front runners and then both Classically and Understory also known to front run and be up there and they could all burn each other and set this up for a finisher. Hurricane Spirit showed some improvement in blinkers recently, only had the one try at this trip last time out but that race was run at a slow pace and may find stamina a stretch here. Similar could apply to Lisahane Bog who landed a gamble when winning over this CD last time out very easily when rather gifted a race after a nasty incident on the home bend, up 8lb now and never won off a mark so high and has always looked better over much shorter until last time out. That all leads me to the frustrating Sand Skier who has found some form recently like many of the yards runners, only one win to his name as a 2yr old and did run in some hot races for Mark Johnston off much higher marks than this and looks well handicapped and isnt going to find many easier opportunities than this. Not given the best ride last time out but did rally in the finish and although 2lb higher still looks too well handicapped to ignore in current form. 3pt win Sand Skier 3/1 bet365 7.05 Kempton Another interesting race with a few AW regulars. Regency Art is probably the least exposed of this field with only 4 runs to date but his maiden win was over 2 years ago and has clearly found it hard to get to the track with another big gap between comeback run and winning a claimer last time out, up 10lb for that and debut for new yard just few too many concerns for me. Tisslam bounced back to his best last time out and runs off the same mark but had a hard race 6 days ago and whether he can get a soft lead this time is also not guaranteed. Abriachan hasnt been seen for over 100 days since winning at Newmarket and although only 4lb higher hard to know what to expect given the break and has never ran well fresh if money comes you will know the fate more than likely considering the yard he comes from. Al Aquabah was far too keen last week over a mile around here and didnt appear to get home, appeared to win with something to spare on penultimate start over CD and a repeat of that should see her go very close off just a 3lb higher mark and return to this trip. The other that looks slightly overpriced is Ocean Legend, not shown much recently but is a 4 time CD winner around here, didnt show much on return from short break at Wolves but its worth noting he has always struggled to beat a rival at Wolves for some reason and a return to Kempton is in his favour. Should get the honest gallop needed and is too well handicapped to be priced as big as he is having last dead heated off a mark of 80 and last won outright off a mark of 81 rated just 72 today. 2pt win Al Aquabah 13/2 hills 1pt e/w Ocean Legend 20/1 lads
