6.05 Kempton Tegan has been ingreat form this season but not exactly a star for this owner or trainer but should provide some more wins for them over the winter but all his wins have come from the front and is not going to get a soft lead here with Allanit an out and out front runner and Ay Tay Tay also known to make the running so off a 4lb higher mark might find things tougher from a poor draw (although Allanit badly drawn aswell) Potentialle is yet to win this season but is well treated and has looked as though he might be about to score with the blinkers on, but on jockey bookings this looks yards second string with jockey having her first ride in public and drawn widest of all. The stables main runner looks to be Hygrove Welshlady who is still ridden by a 7lb claimer but he is useful for his claim. She was an impressive winner of an apprentice handicap on fast ground ran a good enough race next time out in the mud at Newcastle before the handicapper caught up with her and has now saddled her with a 9lb rise for her win, but she gave the very useful looking Alshazah a race last time out and the 4th that day Dark Dune has since been an impressive winner (was badly hampered that day) runs off the same mark today and clearly acts on the surface and unexposed on the surface and should go well. The other that makes a some appeal is Winning Spark who has only had 2 runs for this stable in this country, by the looks of it showed reasonable form in france before clearly needing the run on turf in Sept, found a good opportunity on the AW last time out to win a maiden over this course and a 1f shorter, weak race but did it impressively and a mark of 75 is an 'ok' mark by the looks of it although will need to better that maiden run but is another that is unexposed. 2pt win Hygrove Welshlady 8/1 lads 1pt win Winning Spark 6/1 lads 5.15 Wolverhampton Just a brief one but I cannot believe a Sir Mark Prescott handicap blot can be backed at odds against in a field like this, the only thing perhaps helping the price is 3 of these also won last time out. Body Language just held on on turf last time out up 5lb and still open to improvement but makes AW debut. Vittachi has won his last 2 starts but is now 15lb higher since the first of those and has never won off a mark this high. Ninfea has won off this mark before, and is only 3lb higher for latest win but tackles a further 2f today and that doesnt look a positive move. But with those 3 with 1's in their form lines has probably helped Appeals price who I would have as a EVS or 10/11 shot so to be able to back it at 6/4 I would say is value. Didnt show too much in maidens upto 10f but stepped upto 13f on handicap debut at Lingfield to give her young rider his first win, winning eased down that was in an apprentice handicap so unpenalised and this has clearly been laid out for this job and Donohoe takes over in a slightly stronger race with a further furlong to cope with although that doesnt look a problem on what she did last time and well draw in stall 2 aswell! 4pt win Appeal 6/4 lads 6.15 Wolverhampton Aerodynamic is worth noting having finished well on his last 2 starts in the mud up north, is well handicapped on his best 3yr old form but worry that this faster surface not ideal back over this trip (stays 10f) might be a race at Southwell for him at some point. Fortunate Bid is another worth noting as 3 of his 4 wins have come on the back of shortish breaks and comes here fresher than most but still 2lb above last winning mark and a career best required. Carries Magic is a frsutrating sort well handicapped on best form and often travels like a well handicapped horse but never gets there and just cant be supported at the moment, also makes polytrack debut. Galloping Minister is one of the leasdt exposed runners in this field and runs for the inform Dascombe yard but he didnt appear to get home on his first try at this trip last time out and has stamina to prove for now. Yanbu is another worth noting having finished 2nd on her last start back in July, for a 6yr old she has stood much racing and it seems to have been blighted with breaks which would suggest she perhaps isnt the easiest to train or keep sound which is a concern and whether she is fit enought to do herself justice, also shaped as if a step up in trip would be a better move rather than a shorter trip again. Fluctuation is worth a saver bet, having not got the best passage last time out over CD. Not convinced he would have won but still relatively lightly raced and is consistent unlike most of these and will pick up a race sooner or later. The main bet has to be Pipers Piping who caught the eye in massive style last time out when held up in a race where the kickback was horrendous and flashed home from an uninspiring position, runs off the same mark tonight with same claiming jockey claiming the handy 5lb and has dropped to 1lb below last winning mark and he is usually fairly reliable this time of year once he finds his form and cant be ignored in this field. 3pt win Pipers Piping 4/1 lads 1pt win Fluctuation 4/1 lads

Re: Flat Racing 18th November Wolverhampton 7.15 - Mighty Clarets (15.00ew), Ajdaad (5.50) Fair bit of pace here if Strong Vigilance and I Confess are fit. Choral could also dart down the rail but the distance may get the better of him. These potential leaders are likely to weaken and allow something else through. Powerful held-up types like Xpress Maite and Ajdaad well positioned on the outside means it could be an exciting finish. Dream of Fortune, Carcinetto and Xpress Maite all look like their bet days are behind them at 7yo+ and not having won an all weather handicap in the last 2 seasons. This race looks like a bit of an experiment for Epernay which also sees him in 1st time blinkers. John Potts looks out of depth at this level, and I Confess will also be a stranger to this race since he isn't often seen in handicaps. My live contenders are Mazamorra, Mighty Clarets and Ajdaad. But with Mazamorra likely to become victim to the pace I'll side with the other two. Mighty Clarets has raced the 8.5f at Wolves a few times and looks comfortable everytime. Can win from anywhere and has a course record of 5r-3win-0sec-1thi. Having won the same race lto despite not having a clear run Ajdaad looks even better positioned here today despite the 6lb penalty for the win.
