Seems to be steady progress for him. Has been sat with Matt Perrins for most of the day and involved in a few hands winning with KK and then getting a double up from him with QQ against AK. Latest news at end of level 8 was 66 left from 167 starting, average stack is 38k, McG was on 35,900 and hen about 40k. Will be getting close to the end of the day for them now. :ok YOOOOOOOOOORRRRKKKKKSHIIIIIIIIIIRE. Raised to 2.5k with AK, 2 callers. Flop KQJ, 3 checks. Turn 8, he bets 3k and card rack reraised to 13k. Put him on a bully bluff and shoved, guy calls with 9T for flopped straight, no T on river and McG out. Annoyed with myself for staying far too attached to AK on a very dangerous board, but it's part of the overall learning process, and I need to remember that it only takes 1 mistake to completely cock up your chances of doing well. I should, and could, have been going back today with 25k-ish, but I'm not.
