3.10 LINGFIELD FOLIE A DEUX 16-1 3pts EW Now that the flat is over we are consigned to an all jumps card on monday and tuesday.Whether that is a good thing remains to be seen but i think FOLIE A DEUX is a value bet here.Coming in at bottom weight,it has a stone and 1 pound on the favourite here and also has the assistance of a 5 pound claimer,giving it 20 pound weight diffrerential than the "classier" favourite. FOLIE A DEUX lifetime form 4736541677414F33541125217PU1432256674 (10).What that tells me is that it's not a very versatile horsee trip wise,but it is a constant tryer.If we take todays distance out of its career form (16f) its results are 11122,all over the chase course.Last few races it has been hurdling.All wins where on good or good to soft ground which the chase course is tomorrow. It has some very good hurdling numbers,and if transfering to chase numbers must have a chance here.LIDAR(6-1) was beaten 32 lenghts in its last race and although it was eased down has to prove it can handle the chasing game after flat outing. REYNARD looks to be improver but has to defy a 7 pounds penalty here and may not like the ground. The Form Of FOLIE A DEUX's last race doesnt look too bad.The winner won again next time out.And NOT SURE DICK who finished a long way off FOLIE A DEUX also won next time out in OCTOBER.With a 100 per place strike rate over 16f,and a 60 per cent win rate over 16f i think if it gets around it will go close :?
