Flat Racing 2nd November

5.40 Kempton A typical class 6 AW sprint, plenty of inconsistent characters in the lineup. It should be run at a true pace with plenty of front runners including Super Frank and The Jailer who both will go hard. The Jailer did ok behind an unexposed sort last time out over this trip at Wolves last time out, runs off same mark today but draw hasnt been kind for a front runner and never been the most consistent and with all bar 1 win coming on the turf she doesnt look a solid bet. Porthgwidden Beach caught the eye last time out over 5f at this course when staying on from the back in a race when hold up horses did well so might be a bit flattered by that and now has a double figure draw to overcome over a furlong further. Rightcar is a hard sort to predict but did win on penultimate start and ran a good enough race next time out, never been the most reliable and also a worry that his last 2 wins have come off a basement mark of 45 and now rated 52 and has struggled in recent times off a mark that high so is opposable. Bateleur is better known for his exploits on rattling fast ground at Bath but some how managed to show first form on soft ground at Yarmouth last week in a competitive sprint handicap, step up in trip shouldnt prove a problem and that might be how he won last week having just out stayed his rivals overthe 5f as 6 of his 8 wins have been over todays trip of 6f. Effectively only 1lb higher today under penalty as has a 5lb lower AW mark (although actually 3lb worse off as claiming jockey had a 7lb claim last time out only has 5lb today), but that is for a reason he isnt as good on it and that is the concern, never won on it and only placed once from 7 starts. Yungaburra has to be of interest on the back of to recent efforts over 7f at Wolves staying on nicely but didnt get clearest passage having been ridden with a huge patience, does have form over 6f so that shouldnt prove to much of a problem from a good draw of stall 2. He was a useful 2yr old on the polytrack winning off a mark of 85, never hit those dizzy heights since but last win came off a mark of 53 now running off 50 and could be dangerous to dismiss. The other that interests me on the back of a good effort is Cut The Cackle from the Guest yard who looks like he might have good AW season with several of his horses returning to form recently. He was seen finishing well over CD 3 weeks ago, up 2lb for that effort but still dangerously well handicapped on best form having won off a mark of 70 last year and won off a mark of 82 as a 2yr old! 2pt win Cut The Cackle 9/2 vc 1pt win Yungaburra 8/1 vc 6.10 Kempton Bareback has shown no promise on 2 starts to date, Meet Joe Black has again shown nothing in 3 starts, Lady Gibraltar looks as though she may have gone over the top as clearly hasnt gone aswell last 2 start. Princess Maya will also need to step up on latest effort to figure here. Nicholascopernicus comes from a yard that recently landed a gamble on a 2yr old at Newmarket last week so would be of interest should money comes for him, but bred to want further than this. Intuition ran a good race on debut but didnt build on that next time out but ground could be a reason for that and may improve. For me Poker Hospital should be hard to beat if repeating latest nursery effort off a mark of 74, clearly running right upto that mark which sets her clear on official figures of the 3 that have OR. That effort came in first time cheek pieces and they are retained tonight and of course need to work the oracle again but De Sousa booked and hungry for winners and should run a solid race from a good draw. Now the curve ball! Graylyn Valentino comes from yard that is renowned for 2yr old winners infact only had 1 2yr old runner in the past 5 years, on breeding makes little appeal out of a very poor flat and jump maiden. But yard have never been in such hot form 2 winners from 9 runners and only 1 horse out of the 9 not finishing in the places and that is because it fell, will perhaps need 1 or 2 to underperform but if getting a soft time up front could snatch a place at a price fingers crossed we get the 8 runners! 4pt win Poker Hospital 7/4 bet365 0.5pt e/w Graylyn Valentino 33/1 bet365

Re: Flat Racing 2nd November Blue Maisey - Nottingham 3:05 I think this horse has a good chance of making the frame tomorrow. ery good run last time out at Bath when 2nd to Carinya and the slight step back in trip should be in its favour. Won at Windsor over 1m back in July and this is Peter Makins only runner tomorrow. E/W @ 11/2 Bet365 BOG
