Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Updated 18/3/12 after Cheltenham Formatting a bit wonky with the left column but latest scores and leaderboard now up to date after the festival. Kicking myself for putting Grands Crus in over Sprinter Sacre. I didn't have an RSA horse for and already had Menorah for the Arkle but wasn't sure it would even get around. Blair Boy holds onto top spot and will probably stay there now. Plenty without a national horse so it will depend what goes to Aintree now over the 3 days. At the bottom of the table Petersson 1984 has refused to race and been left at the start while CPO, Elchubb and Who Me? sit behind the leaders waiting to make their move late. Boyd and Mileni are sat with a double handful but might have left it too late for the final burst down the home straight. 10/12 for me have points and I've just realised Blair Boy will be -12pts different when I adjust the table as you can only have 10 scoring horses. Will sort that out now.

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Updated 18/3/12 after Cheltenham Table updated - Blair Boy is too good for us and has a phenomenal 11 pts scoring horses from his 12 selections, sadly only the top 10pts scoring horses count. Amazing effort that though. It's all down to Aintree now. :ok

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Updated 18/3/12 after Cheltenham welldone Mowgli77 - knew I was onto a loser at the beginning of the year - with the form of a lot of my choices being poor this season - took a crazy chance with poquelin and weird al but did not pay off - at least I am not in the bottom this year - heres to next jumps season and cheltenham 2013 !!!

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Updated 18/3/12 after Cheltenham Cheers. Not too bad I suppose. I had hoped for more at the Festival but them's the breaks. Will have to wait and see which horses continue their season at Aintree/elsewhere, and which go on their holidays now. Still gutted that Beshabar misses the national!

Same here. Couldn't decide between Sizing Europe, Grand Crus, Sprinter Sacre, Riverside Theatre and Quevega. Plumped for Sizing Europe and Grand Crus because I wasn't convinced Riverside Theatre would win at Cheltenham nor that Sprinter Sacre would handle the hill for that matter. How wrong was I?! Having been at Cheltenham on both the Tuesday and the Friday, the horse that impressed me most was Sprinter Sacre. Walking back to the winners enclosure, he looked as though he could have gone round again. A future Gold Cup horse? Like many others I'd hoped Grand Crus would win the RSA and Sizing Europe the Champion Chase, but they were the wrong choices.

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Updated 18/3/12 after Cheltenham Congratulations to Blair Boy who wins this seasons PL Jumps 10 to follow competition. He had an amazing 11 horses in the points and would have had an extra 12pts if all were counted (541 total) but it's best scoring 10 horses. I chose Grands Crus over Sprinter Sacre and it proved costly in terms of the competition. Billyhills had an excellent Aintree this week with Big Bucks, Finians Rainbow, Menorah, Oscar Whisky and Sprinter Sacre all winning to propel him up to 3rd place and just 6pts behind me. Only 4pts separated the players in 4th and 5th. At the other end of the table we have Petersson 1984 with a score of 65pts. He doesn't even deserve a wooden spoon with that score so we'll award him a plastic tea stirrer instead. :lol Thanks to all of you for taking part and I hope you'll join in the upcoming Flat Season 10 to follow. We've seen some great jumps races this season and should already have a good idea of what horses we'll be having in our 10 to follow next season. I already have around 8 chosen for next seasons competition and will try go one better next season. Keep an eye out for the flat thread for the 10 to follow. As soon as details are on the TTF site I'll get a thread up and running. :ok

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Updated 18/3/12 after Cheltenham

Bit of progress! Cheers mate.
Competition ended today so cracking effort from you and a very respectable score. Damn shame TFR has let us both down this season. Already looking at these for next season: Simonsig Finian's Rainbow Bobs Worth Cinders and Ashes Big Bucks Sir Des Champs Sprinter Sacre Oscar Whisky Other possibilities of Long Run, Riverside Theatre and I expect a decent campaign over fences from Captain Conan.

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Final Table up now Thanks for all your hard work in running this. Quite pleased with how I've done. Very disappointed with Mon Parrain though not to mention Al Ferof and Long Run. Chose the wrong horses as my bonus horses. Couldn't decide between Sizing Europe and Finian's Rainbow in trying to cover Champion Chase & typically chose the wrong one. Then wasn't totally convinced Sprinter Sacre would cope with the Cheltenham hill - how wrong was I? Was at Cheltenham the day he won and he was IMPRESSIVE - going back to the Winners Enclosure he looked as though he could have gone round for another circuit. He will definitely be in my TTF next year. Another horse of interest I think is Darlan.

Re: PL 10 to follow - Jumps 2011-2012 - Final Table up now Just bumping this for anyone that missed it. I have unstickied it from the top of the page and will replace it shortly with the Flat 10 to follow thread so keep an eye out for that. :ok
