Flat Racing Wednesday 19th of October

Recommended Posts

I dont normally back Richard Hills but to be fair to him he has had a good couple of weeks with a few winners and a good few places and tomorrow he has a nice book of rides at Newmarket so i am going to stick with him tomorrow and hope he has a good day. Lucky 15 @ SP (1) Safarjal - Newmarket 1:30 Pleasing debut run when 6th of 17 to Firdaws at Salisbury over 6f. Forgive of the Hannon stable finished behind in 9th that day and Forgive came out and won today at 17/2 so the form is franked. Wasnt fancied that day, went off 33/1 so in circumstances it was a great run. This horse is also down in grade, that was a Class 3 race and tomorrow is a Class 5 maiden. Has a good chance. (2) Ellaal - Newmarket 2:00 I will be surprised if this horse is not good enough to win this race. It was 2nd of 12 over course and distance last time out, finishing behind a smart looking prospect called Spiritual Star. Has the form in the book and improvement is inevitable and should take a lot of beating here. (3) Leqqaa - Newmarket 2:30 Another horse that should take a lot of beating for the Johnston yard. Won on debut at Leicester and ran a great race last time out in Listed company when 3rd to Caledonian Spring at Haydock. Now dropped into Class 2 company it holds every chance. (4) Daleel - Newmarket 3:00 This time he is on a newcomer for John Dunlop. Has a very taking pedigree and Mr Dunlop is in form with 2 winners from his last 10 runners. He has also had 2 winners from his last 7 runners at Newmarket and may run a big race first time out. Lucky 15 @ SP + E/W Accum @ SP

Sport Horse Racing
Event Kempton 9:20
Selection Tarooq
Strength 10/10
Date 19/10/2011
Bookmaker/Price Bet365 @ 4.50
Reasoning Still lightly raced this year with just 4 runs and will have more to come. His efforts so far has been for 3rd, 1st, 5th, and 1st. That includes a win at this course and distance back in May in a London Qualifer race. He was given time off until August where he was 5th at Wolverhampton. Much sharper next time out six days ago when he won comfortably by 2 1/4 lengths at Lingfield (1m, AW). Hanagan come back to the saddle. His ridden three times with the latest being the win at C&D; they are 2nd, 1st, 1st together.
