Reasoning Did really well the last time he ran 7f on Turf. That was three runs ago in July when 2nd by a neck to the Hannon/Hughes entry Casual Glimpse. The race was a Class 2 Handicap at Goodwood and the selection was the favorite. They tried him at 6f in the next two runs and finished 6th of 21 by 5 1/4 lengths at Doncaster in the Elements Medispa Handicap then at Kempton Park where he lost by a head and neck (2nd was DQ, jockey weighed too light). He finished strong in that race and the return to this trip will benefit him.

Reasoning Has to be respected with jockey Kieren Fallon on board. Form with Fallon is 5th, 1st, 1st, 2nd. They finsihed 1 3/4 lengths behind the winner last time out but it was a good effort being upped to a Class 2 Handicap after being 9th of 9 the first time in that Class four runs ago. He's really progressed well since that last placed effort. 1st in a Class 4 Handicap at Newmarket by 1 length, 6th of 15 by 4 lengths in a Class 3 Handicap at Newmarket again but on Good to Soft, then the last run for 2nd. His 9th placed effort was on Good to Soft. All other runs had been on Good or Good to Firm and that's where he does his best. Should go well here.

Reasoning Has two solid efforts at the track this year. 3rd of 18 by 7 lengths to Brown Panther (6 length winner) in June and 8th of 15 by 3 1/4 lengths last time out (27 days ago). Connections think highly of this one as they raced him in the Group 3 Gordon Stakes two runs ago but only finished last of 10 by 9 3/4 lengths. This is more his Class and likely to finish better than previous runs with only 10 rivals today. With the exception of the Group 3 runs he's faced 17, 17 and 14 rivals. Not easy for a held up runner. Likely to have it easier passage late in the race today.
