georgeCOSTANZA Posted September 12, 2011 Share Posted September 12, 2011 Sport Horse Racing Event Listowel 5:15 Selection The Pott Reidy (Each-way) Strength 1/10 Date 12/09/2011 Bookmaker/Price Sportingbet @ 13.00 Reasoning Showed good signs over hurdles and gets jockey Barry Geraghty in the saddle today. He jumps well and has kept on without threatening in his last last starts. Finsihed 6th of 15 and 7th of 16 by 8 3/4 and 12 1/2 lengths. Should be able to imprved once more with the form of the trainer going well with his National Hunt runners. Trainer T J O'Meara has 3 wins from 6 NH runners the last 30 days, 12th, 1st, 5th, 1st, PU, 1st. Geraghty has ridden for O'Meara in the past winning 2 out of 4. 1 from 1 this season. Debut 2nd to the more experienced Waaheb who finished 2nd in a Grade 1 bumper next time out and won previous two starts going into that race. The selection was the 9/2 favorite next time out but could only finished 13th of 25 in the Listed Bumper at Punchestown. Those runs was in April and May. Will be more mature now.
