well done fellas' date=' might try for the next leg in Brighton[/quote'] The Brighton leg is on 10th March at the same time as the Glasgow one Joe, doing a north and south leg at the same time for some reason, anyway the qualifiers are underway now on every tuesday, thursday and saturday at 9.30pm £22+£2 buy in, 1 in 5 qualify, there are also sats into the final for £5.50 i think, anyway its got 72 out of a maximum of 100 runners to qualify online, so i would say it should be just about full by the end of next week.

Re: Sky Poker Tour Season 4 - 2011/2012 Thanks for the messages and support it was a very enjoyable few hours, as it always is when you make the money. I didn't really have many big hands just kind of gradually built my stack and only had one suck out against me 10 10 vs A rag which left me short stacked. We got down to the last 2 tables and as you can imagine the blinds were starting to bite so was pleased to look down and see AA in the BB there was a shove in early position and a reshove from late I had them both covered and was pleased to see my Aces stand up against 77 and KK. That pretty much got me onto the final table with ease sitting in third with a chip count of 113K Mewillows had 176K(eventual and deserved winner) eyeman on 116K with 4th on 86K. I new Mewillows was v aggresive and after only a few hands eyeman lost about 3/4 of his stack with top pair to Mewillows all-in river shove with A high. My biggest mistake was to sit back a bit too much when I should have been putting more pressure on the smaller stacks however I lost count of the times a short stack doubled up and survived. I eventually decided to get busy and ran A9 into QQ at the time I was still 2nd with 6 left but this left me with only 2 or 3 BB. Not even sure what I eventually went out with but I'm sure I'll be back at a live final table again to exercise a few demons.

Re: Sky Poker Tour Season 4 - 2011/2012 Did nought in this yesterday, had been card dead for 5 hours, aq suited and 7's my best hands, still had about my starting stack of 15k, then manage to get it all in when i have 10J of spades when i flop the flush on a ak9 board, got in all in on the turn after 5d came, she had qs jh, yeh you've guessed it fourth spade on the river :puke If the hand had stood up i would have won her £50 bounty and been well above average chips, instead i was left with 2.7k, double up once and then got it in with k4 against j2, he turned his jack. Was good to meet up with alot of the sky players, they are a good bunch of guys and gals and certainly enjoy themselves, although rolling out of the casion at 6.15am on the saturday morning on hind sight probably wasn't the best preparation for the main event. Was a good structure though and the food they laid on was probably the best i have ever had at a poker do, so would definately recommend some of your guys try and qualify for the 2 day event as the structure is good, the one dayers are alot more of a crapshoot, think there is only the grand final at DTD this year left, which is £330 buy in at the beginning of September i think, not sure i can make it myself yet, but hopefully if i do i may see a few PLers there too.:ok
