Chester 4.20 - Baby Strange (9/1) As we all know Chester is the most draw-biased course in the country - and oddly and not going along with it! This class 3 race features several strong front running types and importantly the two strongest are on the inside rail. Doubtless they will both battle for the lead to try and compound the draw advantage. Along with the others the whole affair is bursting with pace (which is perhaps due to the fact that pace and a good draw are well-know advantages here, therefore potentially self-deafeating once enough people go along with it?). So I'm going for a hold-up horse with a powerful turn of foot. Baby Strange has proven to be versatile regarding tactics so that provides some reassurance that he can adjust to any changes in the way the race is run. Is down to a winable mark and has raced well the last two runs despite the form figures.

Re: FLAT Racing - Fri 9th Sept 3:00 Doncaster: Lyric of Light 1pt e/w 8/1 Bet365 Lyric of Light has only won a maiden compared with some of the Group form on offer, however as that was her first outing there could be more to come. Reading the Godolphin website, when Mickael Barzalona got off Lyric of Light he is reported as saying, there was plenty in the tank and she ran very green. Last season White Moonstone won this for Godolphin, sadly she has not seen the track this year, but she was highly thought of by the Maktoum stable and it's interesting that they give Lyric of Light the go ahead here.
