Reasoning	Ran well all year and the drop back to 6f will help. With the exception of his last run 22 days ago he was not beaten further than 3 1/4 lengths from 7 starts this year. Last time out was for 12th of 20 by 5 1/4 lengths but I think the first time blinkers was to blame that day. They are removed for today. The first 7 runs had 0 wins but he did placed in 4 runs. He made his season debut at 7f for a 2nd placed effort but 6f had been his trip. The form at 6f is at 2nd, 4th, 3rd, 3rd while the 7f form is 2nd, 6th, 6th, 8th. Three of the last four starts had been for 7f. Trainer Paul Midgely is in good form having won 6 of his last 18 runs with 4 more being placed. This is his only entry today.

Reasoning	Goes well in big fields at the track and making good progress this year. Previous four runs at the track is for 2nd of 20 and 19th of 20 in 2009 for David Nicholls. 3rd of 20 and 4th of 20 in 2010. All runs were at the C&D. His worst run from four starts this year had been at 7f where he finished 8th of 28 by 7 1/4 lengths. All other three runs this year was for 6f. 14th of 20 by 6 1/4 lengths (season debut), 3rd of 13 by 1 length and 4th of 19 by 5 1/4 lengths. He's been with trainer Kevin Ryan since 2010 but never had jockey Philip Makin on board until today.
