Reasoning	Nishikori lead 1-0 head to head but that match was two years ago also on hard court in San Jose. Nishikori played qualifications here although he is better ranked than Muller who will strat direclty of first round so Muller will be with fresher legs today because this will fourth match in four days to Japanese. Muller did not played already twenty days but he produced very good matches last month in Atlanta were he reached the semis defeated by Isner in three sets. If Muller showed his strong serve I think the short Japanese will be in trouble today. Muller prefers this kind of surface he is 6'5 tall with big serving as I said he is in better fit than Nishikori at the moment.

Before that he won against the Alex Jr. Ginepri and Kevin Anderson. On the other hand we have Higher ranked Nishikori. After the Wimby he played just in Davis cup and last appearance was in Cincinnati, where he lost to Nalbandian 4:6 4:6, and that's it ... The odd on Muller is screaming to take on. H2H is 1:0 to japaneese player, but today it can be other story i think. Left handed server could be another big problem for Kei.
