Can anybody tell me if i was to bet 2 different horses both at 7/1 how often; 1. Would i win 1 bet? 2. Would i win both bets? Whats a bookies edge these days? Would i win both bets? Whats a bookies edge these days? The chance of a horse winning at 7/1 is 12.5% in theory, but doesn't take into account the bookies edge. The chance that you lose both bets is roughly 77%, the chance you will walk away with one winner is roughly 21%, and the chance of getting both winners is about 1.5%. Bookies edge today would be about 1% per horse, so the true chances would be more like: Chance to get no winners: 78.3% Chance to get one winner: 20.4% Chance to get two winners: 1.3% Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
