Betting Blunders

Has anyone else forgot to place a bet but still cheered on a horse to win? I doubt this happens on course but easier to do online. Stupidly I forgot to place my bet on Pepper Lane this afternoon. Each Saturday I always write down my selections and then put my selected outlay next to each one. I wasnt going to have a big bet a couple of points each way but felt a right plum when finding out I hadnt even backed it :( To make matters work I also had a sneaky placepot at Ripon which I also thought had come in. The first five had all placed and according to my written down selections I was on the fav in the last or so I thought. After checking my slip it was down as Salik Tag So I missed out on £267. Needless to say not the best of afternoon. Anyone else has a betting blunder?
