Any Unquoted Market

Hi all, I don't have any particular system or figures unfortunately but I do want to throw something out there. That something is the Any Unquoted market on Betfair. I know not many matches finish AUQ, but many matches do end up 2-0 quickly, or indeed end up with 3 goals. 4 goals in a game is not that rare. However, the AUQ price always seems to be high. Take this as an example (famous last words I'm sure!): The AUQ in the Sheff W v Blackpool game tonight is 9. Blackpool have put out a depleted side because of international matches taking a few players, and of course promotion from the Championship being a priority. Now even if Sheffield Wednesday don't end up scoring 4 goals, a quick goal will see us out with a nice profit, a 2-0 half time lead either way would see us with a nice profit, even a Blackpool goal would see us out around even but slightly green. Now if I was going to do a method on this, I'd back the AUQ, then trade out in the sense that I would leave the market showing as: 0-0 - £0.00 1-0 - £0.00 etc AUQ - £60.00 So every score shows zero except the AUQ. Has anyone ever explored this kind of thing further? The AUQ tends to shift quite well with a goal, and goals in the second half (of which there are more) shift it quite drastically. It's something I'll be exploring over the next few weeks. I'm not making a bet on the Sheff W game tonight but I'll certainly keep an eye on the market to see how it moves and I'll note it down here. Probably be 0-0 now!! Any thoughts welcome :ok

Re: Any Unquoted Market Haha well typically, the game finished 0-0!! Always the way. I do think there may be value for trading the any unquoted though, always backing first, then laying off, and I'm going to investigate it. I'm going to try to build some figures and then we'll see if there are any patterns which can be exploited. :hope
