The RP reporter at Lingfield quoted Jim Best saying that he thought his yard's, Carlton Scroop, had the best chance in the 3:00 (along with Country Road - who was withdrawn at the start). He finished third of four. Best actually has a good seller record (10 in 32, for a profit of over 38pts), but I like to use the Totesports Signposts site, which showed that Ian Williams is 6 in 19 (32%) but rises to 45% with first time sellers: http://www.totesport.com/portal?action=GoRacingPostSignPostsBestSellers Obviously it would be silly to go on this one piece of information, so it's useful to check up on a few other bits before placing a wager. Jim Best's getting rid of his flat horses, soon, hope he doesn't make any sweeping statements like the above, though!
