jayalexander Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 The RP reporter at Lingfield quoted Jim Best saying that he thought his yard's, Carlton Scroop, had the best chance in the 3:00 (along with Country Road - who was withdrawn at the start). He finished third of four. Best actually has a good seller record (10 in 32, for a profit of over 38pts), but I like to use the Totesports Signposts site, which showed that Ian Williams is 6 in 19 (32%) but rises to 45% with first time sellers: http://www.totesport.com/portal?action=GoRacingPostSignPostsBestSellers Obviously it would be silly to go on this one piece of information, so it's useful to check up on a few other bits before placing a wager. Jim Best's getting rid of his flat horses, soon, hope he doesn't make any sweeping statements like the above, though! Quote
