LTO was at the course and distance where he jumped much better, made headway from 3 out and just weakened in the last . It was against novices and that is a tougher race than the Maiden Hurdle tonight. Robert Thornton is booked just like the previous two and he's good enough to believe that the selection will once again improve. They finished 5th of 8 by 18 1/2 lengths compare to the debut effort of 8th of 10 by 41 lengths. Started the eyar with a 9th place finish then a 3rd, 3rd, and 1st. Campbell Gillies was on board LTO and again booked today. He's done well for trainer Lucinda Russell with 3 winners from the last 4 rides for her this month. The three winners had the selection and two other horses. I think that form gives the price some value for an weach-way. This is also less trickier than Market Rasen last time out. Russell wins more here than any other tracks.
