Kelly criterion vs Flat staking

I just want to make a comparison of two staking strategies - flat stakes and Kelly criterion. I did both of these in the past and my initial tought was that flat staking is far more practical and does not demand that accurate value estimation. However, other experiences say that with less picks and more selective approach Kelly's criterion is oftenly more successful. I'll try to compare these two by the end of the 2011, taking 50 bets/month at most. GL 2 me.
