Depends on the rules you are playing? If you are in a Grosvenor then his hand will be declared dead, if you are anywhere else that uses TDA rules or RR then his hand is still live all options open, but he will receive a penalty after the hand. As the player hasn't called and BB saying he's won without the player putting any chips in, then I would look into the possibility of collusion and disqualifying both players.
