Quick ground might bring a bit of improvement and this race doesn't look too inspiring. The horse tends to race keenly, but if Andrew Glassonbury manages to settle him, he could have a squak today. Uttoxeter 8.40 Marie De Laufon 1pt EW - 9/2 SJ, 4/1 gen Ridden more positively last time and stayed on well after looking held. Escapes penalty here and should be competitive for trainer in form. Favorite is also progressing nicely, but he could be underpriced. I expect my selection to be thereabouts again and with more positive riding, she should have few wins in her.
