blackcrow Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 Oakland @ 2.01 pinnacle Gonzalez is 5-3, with a 2.49 ERA as he allowed 4 runs in the 4-2 loss to the NY Yankees, and will look to bounce back against Baltimore, where he is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA in 3 starts against them, as he allowed 2 runs in the 6-2 win over them two weeks ago. Matusz is 0-0, with a 1.59 ERA and he allowd 1 run in the 2-1 win over Seattle in his first start of the season. However he is 1-2 with a 6.11 ERA in 3 starts against Oakland, with losses in both game at home with a high 7.15 ERA to go with it. Oakland have lost their last 6 games, but have won all 3 games against Baltimore this season and like them to do enough to win it here. Texas -1.5 @ 2.31 pinnacle Lewis is 5-5, with a 3.48 ERA and is 4-2 with a 2.04 ERA in his last 7 starts, as he allowed 4 hits in the 3-0 win over Tampa Bay. Opposite him is Scherzer who is 6-2, with a 4.38 ERA but has allowed 7 runs in each of his last 2 starts and now faces the very good hitting Texas line up. Though he is 2-0 with a 2.42 ERA in 4 starts against them. hard to see him stopping them with his recent form and the fact that they have won 11 of their last 14 games, with quite a few of their batters in good form. Seattle -1.5 @ 2.62 pinnacle Pineda is 6-2, with a 2.30 ERA as he has allowed 1 run or less in 3 of his last 4 starts. He has pitched well on the road in his 5 starts there, and with Seattle having won 14 of their last 18 games, there is confidence and momentum in this side, and they shoyld do well against Danks who is 0-8, with a 5.25 ERA and is coming off allowing 9 runs on 9 hits in the 13-4 loss to Toronto. Though he is 4-0 with a 1.13 ERA against Seattle, hard to see him doing well with the struggles he has had this season.
