Sandown Park 18:30 Magic City 1pt win @ 5-4 (VictorChandler) This race was won by Richard Hannon and Richard Hughes from 2006 to 2009. Hannon also won it in 1994, 1996, 1997, and 2002. He enters two for today. The selection is the more experienced and was beaten only a neck by Mark Johnston's Bannock. Magic City did not have a clear run from 2 out and it was the first time he was held up. From Racing post commentary, "...still there well over 1f out, shaken up and progress to chase winner just inside final furlong, ridden and ran on to close gap near finish, never going to get there " He carried 9-0 that day and Bannock only had 8-11. They are even today.

Re: Flat Racing - May 26th Thursday Sandown Park 19:05 Holberg 1pt win @ 7-4 (Bet365) Been off for 205 days but had been able to win fresh in the past. His first run on 2009 and 2010 were winners. He was last seen 6th in the Melbourne Cup last year. 6.25 lengths behind the winner (won by 2 3/4L). So You Think finished 3rd, 2 3/4 ahead of the selection. This is only his 6th start for Saeed Bin Suroor (15216) and was trained by Mark Johnston for his first 7 runs (64511131). Suroor won this in 2004 and 2005. Not had an entry until last year (3rd and 9th).
