3.35 Lingfield Just a small interest in this race. MoreSweets n lace doesnt always look straightforward and as if she is giving her all in a finish so that is a concern here, Kenyan Cat ran a promising race on reappearance but whether the handicapper has caught up with him has to be questioned. The least exposed runner is Simcocks Shamardal Phantom only 5 runs to date and landed a weak maiden on the AW in really smart style and made a mark of 70 look kind but failed to land a blow in a hot race for a yarmouth handicap last time out, has to be worth another chance in what looks a weaker race, was just as good on turf last year as AW so could easily bounce back. 1pt win Shamardal Phantom 5/1 pp

Re: Flat Racing 18th May Kempton 3:20 Robin Hoods Bay 11-1 BET365(BOG) 1 POINT WIN Handicapping for the first time today after three outings(Lingfield, Kempton, Southwell) all at 6f in class 5 madiens. Ran ok on all but the run at Kempton showed a bit of a promise, finished 8th but only 3.5 lengths behind the winner. Upped in trip to a mile today, racing in a class 6 off a rating of 64 looks workable to me. More significantly is the booking of Neil Callan, he is the best jockey around Kempton and knows the best tactics for every distance/draw around here. 11-1 looks a bit big and i expect a bit of money for this, Silver Show looks the main danger for the Channon stable as they are red hot but i have a feeling he may like slower AW like southwell or wolves, Kempton is very quick.
