He is 6-4 with a 4.63 ERA in 20 starts against Detroit, so he will be looking for another good performance here, as Coke is 1-5, with a 4.75 ERA, and is 0-3 with a 6.75 ERA in his last 4 games as he allowed 4 runs on 11 hits in the 7-4 loss to Toronto. Baker is pitching better here and like them to lead the way for them to even up the series. Oakland @ 2.00 pinnacle Gonzalez is 4-2, with a 2.68 ERA as he allowed both runs on 4 hits in the 3-2 win over Kansas. He is 4-1 with a 2.34 ERA in 7 starts against Texas as he allowed 2 runs in the 7-2 win over them 10 days ago. Volquez is 3-1, with a much higher 5.63 ERA as he is 1-1 with a 5.91 ERA in his last 4 starts, and allowed 4 runs on 6 hits and 4 walks in the 5-4 win over the Chicago Cubs. he has pithced well in Houston in the past, but his recent form suggests that they may be able to score some runs here and avoid the sweep. He will be looking to pitch better than his last start against Washington where he allowed 4 runs on 5 hits in the 6-3 loss to them last month. Lannan is 2-4, with a 5.09 ERA and has lost his last 3 starts with a 7.54 ERA to go with these 3 starts, as he allowed 6 runs on 7 hits in the 7-3 loss to the Phillies. He is 3-0 with a 2.76 ERA in his last 3 starts against Atlanta, and allowed 1 run on 5 hits in the win over Hanson and the Braves, but hard to take him on current form. Seattle -1.5 @ 2.20 pinnacle Hernandez is 4-2, with a 3.02 ERA as he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in the 3-2 win over the Chicago White Sox. He has allowed 2 runs or less in 7 of his 8 starts, and is 4-0 with a 2.56 ERA in 6 starts at Baltimore, while he is 2-1 with a 1.26 ERA in his last 6 starts against them overall. Tillman is 1-3, with a 7.16 ERA and is coming off allowing 8 runs on 10 hits in the 9-1 loss at Kansas. Seattle have the better pitcher on the mound and like him to do well here and help the Mariners win this one. TB have won 8 of their last 9 road games, and while Cleveland have won well at home, they are up against a better pitcher in this contest.
