Simon Trumper
Re: Grand Prix Daily numbers update Hi Guys Here is my first daily report from the Grand Prix. Day 1A of the Grand Prix III has come to a close, after 10 x 30 minute levels, the 296 runner field has been reduced to 70 players who will be returning for day 2 on Saturday. The average stack is 42,285 and the current chip leader is Michael Holmes with 137,100. There were 44 online qualifiers who chose to play day 1A who each received a Golden Chip at the start of play, which would entitle them to an additional £5000 should they make the final table. Eight of which have made it through to day 2. Dusk Till Dawn already holds the record for the biggest tournament field in the UK at 1058 set at the UKIPT. The guarantee for the Grand Prix III is 1600 players, and with 4 day 1’s to go Friday is already sold out and the current number of entries is 1185, so our previous record will be smashed. The atmosphere in the club was fantastic tonight with everyone saying what an amazing experience the Grand Prix is with the opportunity to play a low buy in event with a deepstack structure and a huge prizepool. If you wish to join the action and play Tuesday to Thursday you can buy in online up until 6pm each day, there are already 183 registered for tomorrow and we expect at least 300. Simon Trumper
Re: Grand Prix Daily numbers update Grand Prix III Day 1B has come to a close. There are now 1,321 players who have entered the event, and 258 took their chance today. At the end of level 10 just 60 remain with an average stack of 43,000, these players will return for day 2 on Saturday at 1pm. Our day 1B chip leader with 120,600 was Amandeep Atwal. There were just 25 Golden Chip holders today, only 4 of which have made it through to Day 2, meaning so far there are just 12 in with a chance of winning that extra £5,000. We need another 280 players to buy in over the next 2 days to hit the 1,600 runner guarantee, with means currently there is a €14,000 overlay. We anticipate another 250-300 runner field tomorrow, with currently 188 registered, and are hoping that Thursday will sell out at 405. Simon Trumper
Re: Grand Prix Daily numbers update Hi All Day 1C of the Grand Prix III The total number of runners for the Grand Prix III stands at 1,448, just 152 short of the 1600 player guarantee. Day 1D currently has 203; will we end up with the 355 required Day 1C had 287 entrants and 64 approximately 22% of the field made it through to day 2 with an average chip count of 44,800, chip leader is Jamie Forest with 103,200. So far during the first 2 days 12 Golden Chip holders have progressed to Saturday’s restart at 1pm. Tonight, there were 22 and 9 will be joining them. Should one of these Golden Chip satellite qualifiers make it to the final 8 on Sunday they will earn an additional £5,000. Simon Trumper
Re: Grand Prix Daily numbers update Hi All Day 1D of the Grand Prix III 1527 now entered which means we did not hit the 355 required for the 1600 runners so have added an extra 80 seats to Day 1E, it is in the lobby under DUSK GP EXTRA 1E. Day 1D had 282 entrants and 70 of them, or 24.8% of the field made it through to day 2, the highest percentage so far with an average chip count of 40.285, chip leader is John Grice with 115,800. There were 28 Golden Chips and 8 made it through making a total of 34. Should one of these Golden Chip satellite qualifiers make it to the final 8 on Sunday they will earn an additional £5,000.
