7.30 Southwell: Persian Peril 1pt win @ 8/1 Bet365 BOG This horse is well up to winning a race of this nature and C&D form reads very well (2-1-3). May have needed reappearance run when well beaten over a trip further than ideal and return to 11f on a surface the horse handles could show the horse in a better light especially as entitled to strip fitter for seasonal debut.

Re: FLAT - Tues 10th May 2.50 Yarmouth - 2pts win Memphis Man @ 4/1 (Bet365) Memphis Man has returned to form of late, getting a deserved victory at Windsor two starts ago. Followed this up with a solid run at Warwick only on Saturday, when coming from off the pace as usual. It paid to be up with the pace at Warwick on Saturday, so this effort can be upgraded somewhat in my opinion. Remains on an excellent mark on the pick of his form (previous winner off 75), and clearly appears in good heart. Needs a bit of luck with his running style, but this looks a pretty weak handicap, and must have a major chance. David Evans is in excellent form with 3 winners, a 2nd, a 3rd, and a 4th from his last 6 runners. Matthew Cosham gets on well with the horse and continues to take a valuable 7lbs off the horse's back.
