This one just popped into my head and anything could happen, taking the plunge with a real £200 bank available. It involves taking the RP forecast, listing all the 3/1, 5/1 and 7/1 forecasted horses in the day's card (GB only) and picking the one felt to be the best of each. If there is a 3/1 horse and a 5/1 horse in the same race, the 5/1 horse is discounted altogether. Similarly, if there are more than one of the same price in the race, the horse with the lower RPR is discounted. The staking plan: £10 stake a day as follows: 3 x £2 singles 3 x £1 doubles 1 x £1 treble (pretty much a patent, but with an extra £1 on each single) Even if the shortest priced one wins the loss will not be more than 2 units but a profit hopefully would result if either of the other two win. In the improbable event that all three win, something around £250 ought to result, but considering these are hopefully the best of those at these odds, ought to give a fair run for our money.
