Canadiens/Bruins UNDER 5 (-115) Montreal beat the Bruins last night in Game 6 and have a rare back-to-back playoff game for the seventh and deciding game. Despite being outshot 32-27 the Canadiens held on to a 2-1 victory over the Bruins with two powerplay goals (both 5 on 3 goals). So far 4 of the 6 games have gone under the total (which has been set at 5 all series long). Also note that the UNDER is 3-0 in all 3 games in Boston with totals of 3, 4 and 2. One of the very strange stats in this series is the fact that Boston has yet to score a powerplay goal, as they are 0 for 19. We could have expected to see some difficulties from the Boston powerplay, as they were converting just 15% on the season, but I don't think anyone would expect them to go without a powerplay goal six games into the postseason. For the most part Canadiens goaltender Carey Price has been outstanding in this series to continue on the great regular season he had. Scoring should be difficult to come by in this game 7 with Price and Thomas between the pipes. The UNDER is 30-11 for the Canadiens on the road this season, and 27-15 for the Bruins at home on the year. Also note the UNDER is 6-0 in the Bruins last 6 home games and 7-2-1 in their last 10 games as a favorite. Unless one team blows up I think we can expect a tight checking a low scoring game. Take the value on the UNDER here in game seven.
