Uttoxeter 4.05 Be My Light 1pt EW - 9/1 Sporting Bet 10lbs higher for her latest win, but ran a very good race lto and had no chance against the handicap good thing Cloudy Spirit, who won again since and had too much in hand. Big field here, but I'm not sure about most of these. There isn't anything that much progressive in the race. Also few are coming after a break and this looks like just a sharpener for them. Others need 3 miles. With the valuable claim of the good conditional, my selection gets quite a bit of weight from her main rivals and I think she is progressive enough to go close here.

Re: Jumps Racing ~ April 2nd Sat Uttoxeter 5.45 El Zorro 1pt EW - 6/1 Ran a good 2nd 2 months ago after more than 2 years off the track. Given enough time to recuperate and should be spot on today. Bolted up off just 2lbs lower at Newbury over hurdles 3 years ago and with few miles on the clock, I think he could win today. Looks a chaser and trainer usually improves them when they go over the bigger obstacles. This looks like a pretty weak affair for its grade. Willandrich beat nothing lto and 9lb hike seems harsh. Extra Bold is not particularly well handicapped either and potential showers could go against him. At bigger prices, there isn't much to worry about. If my selection runs to his form from 2 seasons ago, I think he'll take all the beating. Showed there is still plenty in him lto and with potential improvement now chasing, the 6/1 is worth a bet.
