Has been disappointing over hurdles so far, but cheekpieces are applied for today's handicap debut and I expect a better run. He needed the full 2 miles on the flat, so I'm not surprised he's upped to 2m7f today. Should appreciate it and if the headgear sparkles him, I think he might get involved at a price. Bar the favorite, the race isn't really anything special and even the jolly's form is a bit questionable, because the race he won lto was awful. Needs to show much more than he has been, but dropped 3lb, back over hurdles and has the blinkers on for the first time. Trip and ground not a concern & if we take the favourite out, then it's wide open. Massive odds on the exchanges and worth a little dabble each way.
