What to do?

Recommended Posts

We just moved down to 4 tables, so about 36 left, and I was moved tables so little read on the players. My chips are about ¾ of the average, blinds 3500/7000 ante 875

Questions:

What would you but the SB on?

What would you put the CO on? With his re-raise all-in is he looking to get paid off or get me out of the hand?

Would you call or fold? Why

Re: What to do? small blind has what 4 blinds + antes left so his shoveing range is gonna be huge any pair any ace two picture cards or even suited cons - especially with two other players in the pot its a great place for him to shove with any of these hands the cut off is a different matter - hes made a classic squeeze play here to isolate the small stack - he wants to play the hand cos hes sure that he can beat him but doesnt want you in the pot hence the massive raise all in. For this reason i doubt he has aces or kings but cant be certain if as you say you havent seen much of how he is playing. I would say that your call was the wrong move here - if you had made the raise then he would have to give you MUCH more respect than the short stack and you could get a better read on his play. Another point though is that your hand strength is very well hidden - if you call me here in the above situation id have you on a much weaker hand - just trying to see a cheep flop so if hes on a mid pair then it looks like a shove will get you off any of these marginal hands similarly if hes got ak even aq he could make the same play. personally to me this is a call here - i would figure that 80% of the time you will be ahead here and of that 80% its probably 50-50 as to weather its a race with 2 overs or he has the under pair and you have him crushed - so if i am playing for the win then i call
