Without Favorite (Protractor) Red Copper @ 9-2 Paddy Power Bad 10th of 10 finish on debut LTO. Now had 26 days off to work on him at home. Trained and jockey booked is Michael Bell and Hayley Turner. Bell have trained 3 winners from his last 4 with the other able to finish 2nd. Turner was on board the last two, finishing 1st and 2nd. Just one entry for the day from Bell. Owner Sheikh Marwan Al Maktoum is good to follow on 3 year old maidens. He has 10 wins from 31 (31%) the last 5 seasons. Bell trained 3 winners from 7 3yo maidens for the owner last year.

The winning distance was only a short-head to the JP Spencer ridden Eastern Gift. That was at this course and distance and his first test at 1m. First two runs was also at this track but for 7f for a form of 1st and 2nd. There is more progress from here. She is by Pivotal and the useful dam Sweet Firebird that won over 1m2f. Purchase price was 320,000gns as a yearling.
