Discipline is the Key

Hi, I've been thinking about this for a while and I thought I'd give it a go for real. The plan is to make 2% of my bank every day for a whole year, starting with the £40 that i have in my Betfair account. I know there have been loads of threads on this before but nobody ever follows them through. If you think about it, it looks easy. If I build my starting bank of £40 by 2% every day by this time next year I would have £54,000 minus commission. Now thats a crazy amount of money. The key to this is discipline. Now I know this won't be easy at all but I think if I put my mind to it, I could give it a right good go. The profit I need to make on my 1st day is a measly £0.80. It'll be hard in the beginning putting all the time and effort in to make small amounts like that, but I need to look at the bigger picture. I will be betting on football. League games only. Strictly no cup games. I will be using all English and Scottish leagues and the major European leagues. I will mostly be backing home teams as i feel they have more of an advantage. I have drawn myself up a set of rules and a staking plan that I am going to stick to, no matter what. Rules 1. Do my homework, on the match I will be betting on. 2. Have a plan and stick to it. 3. Don't be greedy, even a few pence profit is a successful bet. 4. Don't bet just for the sake of it. Its much better to have fewer more successful bets. 5. Never bet more than 10% of the bank at the one time. 6. Losses will happen, so expect it. Staking Plan 1 - 10% of bank on a 1.2 2 - 4% of bank on a 1.5 3 - 3% of bank on a 1.75 4 - 2% of bank on a 2 5 - 1% of bank on a 2.5+ If anybody has any advice they want to give me it would be much appreciated. And remember this is my 1st glory hunt so be kind! Also I work a full time job so I will update this whenever I have the time, and I will always post my bets before the off. Wish me luck. :hope

Re: Discipline is the Key Good luck Lydo :hope and you are right,discipline is the key.Lack of it has been my undoing on many occasion.I hope you have the discipline to achieve this hunt.2% a day is a massive ask,but I do wish you well.Their will be days you will not meet the required daily target, so my advice would be your advice.STAY DISCIPLINED,dont go chasing and hopefully you should get a tidy profit after a year.
