Setting losing limits

I started this month not so well with only 1 winning bet and losing like 15-20. So, juts wanted to know if this happened to any of you before and what you did. Is it a good idea to have a losing limit per month and once you reach it you stop betting? Thanks in advance for any thoughts and opinions.
