In partnership with 888poker, the season will contain a series of eighteen National Championship events in addition to a five event Specialist Series. Seasonal highlights include:- 888poker Partner APAT: APAT will be headline sponsored by 888poker, in a deal that will see value added professional event seats awarded for APAT Amateur and Online Champions. 888poker will exclusively host all APAT direct buy ins, online Championship events, satellites and the National Online League. APAT Goes Stateside: APAT will host an event in the US for the first time with the American Amateur Poker Championship in November. In addition, the European Amateur Poker Championship will be held in Prague in the final event of the season. Home International Championship: The Home International Championship is a new event, added following the success of the European and World Amateur Team Championship events. This event will feature ‘A’ and ‘B’ International Teams from England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. APAT To Crown Definitive Pub Poker Champions: The APAT UK Pub Poker Championship is a new event that will debut in season five which will identify once and for all, the Champion Pub Poker League and Individual Player in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Specialist Series: A five event specialist series will take place on the Sunday of the Amateur Championship events in Coventry, Newcastle, Cardiff, Glasgow and Cork. The series will feature tournaments in Omaha, Stud, Six-Max, Razz and Hold’em. The first event of the new season will be the 888poker English Amateur Poker Championship, which will be played at the G Casino in Coventry on March 26th & 27th. I've missed getting them in the diary so far. Al has posted some of the dates above, but I know they generally run sats to the live games too and I need to know buy-ins and times etc. They used to have a calendar on the APAT site with all the dates logged in, but I can't even find the announcement of the set up this year on there. The events will cost $50 + $5 and $20 + $2 respectively. For further details and discussion, please click through to the relevant thread on the forum. In addition, the APAT North American Amateur Poker Championship will take place at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas on Saturday & Sunday November 19th & 20th. Entry will be available direct from the venue and players travelling from the UK can reserve their seats by posting in the reservation thread on the forum. Seats for APAT members will cost $120 + $15 (Valets & Dealers contribution) and APAT will pay an additional $15 registration fee per player. Players will start the event with 10,000 chips, with a great structure being provided throughout. Live updates from Las Vegas will be available through the APAT forum over that weekend. Finally, the 888poker APAT United Kingdom Open will take place at the G Casino in Manchester on December 3rd & 4th. The buy in will be £100, with no registration fee. The event will be run with the normal APAT structure and will be open to both amateur and professional players. Qualifying satellites will be taking place on 888poker on November 9th ($10 + $1) and 10th ($20 + $2) at 8pm.
